DAY 1: WELCOME TO KENYA!

Your Kindness Cultural Safaris guide will meet you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to take you to the 4 star Ole Sereni hotel*. Your friendly guide will be with you throughout the entire tour.

DAY 2: NAIROBI TOUR WITH ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE

Visit David Sheldrick elephant orphanage, the most successful elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. Tour the estate of Karen Blixen, author of the famous autobiography “Out of Africa”.

DAY 3: NATURE IN NAIVASHA

Drive to Naivasha Hells Gate National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most dramatic parks in Africa.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives to look for rhinos and other wildlife and, we hope, the famous Nakuru flamingos, in this World Wetlands Convention protected site and one of Kenya’s top national parks.

DAY 5: TRAVEL TO KISUMU & 5-STAR SOVEREIGN HOTEL

After a morning game drive, travel from Nakuru to Kisumu, passing through the scenic tea fields of Kericho. Kisumu is located on the shores of Kiboko Bay stemming from Lake Victoria. Enjoy relaxing and dining at the 5-star Sovereign Hotel.

DAY 6: A DAY IN THE VILLAGE

Travel to a nearby village to experience the daily life of the Luo people, near the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa. Walk through the local market accompanied by local guides. Visit a village secondary school and see what education is like for youth in Kenya.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Arrive at Maasai Mara, one of the premier nature preserves in the world, an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, where legendary animal life abounds. This is truly the land of the Lion King (“Simba” is Swahili for lion.)

DAY 8: MAASAI MARA

Enjoy a full day experiencing the Mara magic. The Mara reserve is the most popular game site in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all year round, including the “big five”.

DAY 9: MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI

Return to Nairobi, driving with your guide through the Kenyan countryside and towns, with a stop for lunch at Narok. Return to the Olesereni hotel in Nairobi.

DAY 10: SHOPPING, GIRAFFES AND DINNER AT CARNIVORE

Visit the Nairobi Giraffe Center where you will see these marvelous creatures up close, and even feed them from your hand. Shop at the Village market in Nairobi.

In the evening, experience dining at the famous Carnivore, famous for exotic meats, roasted over charcoal and carved at your table. (Vegetarian options also available!)

DAY 11: DEPARTURE DAY

Breakfast at the hotel then leave according to your schedule.
Transportation provided to Jomo Kenyatta airport. Kwaheri! Karibu tena!
